On
Memorial Day Monday, Paul, Kim, Mike and Meredith joined us. We had
planned to meet Kevin and Katherine in the Little Choptank River, but
Small Craft Advisory for 15 - 20 knot winds and 2 - 3 foot waves casued
us to remain in the Patuxent River. We left Jim's at 1120 and went
direct to Broome's Island. We proceeded up Broome's Island Creek sbout
1/2 mile and anchored at 38° 25.125'N 76° 32.306'W.
Paul brought turkey sandwiches and we had lunch at anchor. We
spent about 1.5 hours at anchor, then got underway. We proceeded at ~ 6
knots to the W side of the Patuxent and went S to Clark's Landing and
cruised through Placid Harbor. 8 - 10 boats at anchor there. We
returned to Jim's dock at 1540.
