On Saturday July 12, 2008 we cruised to Cambridge, MD.  Left Town Creek at 1230. Trip up was great/uneventful. Boat worked well. When we arrived at the Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin - it took ~45 minutes to hail the dockmaster for a berthing assignment. Finally got in a little after 1500. Slip fee was $1.50/ft - must ASK for 30 amp shore power or you'll get 50 amp - but otherwise a good marina. Saturday evening we walked into town for the "Taste of Cambridge." We had dinner at Snapper's. Very good.  Quiet evening aboard.

Sunday morning, breakfast and coffee with Kevin and Katherine. Departed at 1030. First 30 minute on Choptank we good. As we approached Chesapeake Bay started to encounter 15 - 20 knot winds and 3' waves. Finally had to throttle back, drop off plan and spent rest of cruise to Patuxent River at 8 knots, 2500 RPM. Mid Bay waves increased to 3 - 5' feet. Very rough ride. Took a lot of water up on the fly bridge. From Solomon's into Town Creek was good.
