Wed. Suzette, mom and I departed Town Creek about 1000 for Cambridge
Municipal Yacht Basin in Cambridge, MD on the Choptank River.
The weather was spectacular - mild, low humidity and a slight breeze.
We slow cruised and made t to CMYB about 1600. We went to the fuel dock
to pump the tank, then docked at the T head on D dock. Only
disadvantage was a long walk to the office from D dock, but otherwise
very good. We tied up, plugged in and got cleaned up and walked a short
distance to Snapper's
Waterfront Cafe. Had a nice dinner there and returned to the boat
and settled in for a quiet evening.
Thursday morning, we departed about 1000. On the way out of the
Choptank, we took a side trip into La Trappe Creek. We cruised a couple
of miles up La Trappe Creek then reversed and went back to the Choptank
and cruised back to Solomons. As we arrived in the Patuxent River, the Blue Angels
were rehearsing
for the air show. We stopped and watched for a short time, then
returned to Jim's about 1615.
A nice two day cruise. Boat worked well. Had a wonderful time with
mom on board.
