North Central College Sesquicentennial and Alumni Award Weekend

On November 11, 2011, I was presented with an Alumni Recognition Award from North Central College where I graduated in 1975.

On Wednesday, November 9, Suzette and I departed Lexington Park at 0450 and drove to South Bend. We arrived at 1640. That evening Kathy and JR joined Mom, Suzette and me for dinner at Mom's house.

 On Friday November 11, 2011, we drove to North Central College in Naperville, IL. As we arrived we visited with Professor Caliendo at the Political Science Department. We attended the Trustees Luncheon, followed by at photo session. then the Convocation at Wentz Hall where the alumni award was presented. After the Convocation, we attended the Sesquicentennial Dinner and celebration at the new Residence Hall and Recreation Center. Dinner was served for 2,300 students, staff and alumni.

On Saturday November 12, 2011, we had breakfast  at the Colonial Cafe. We toured the campus, watched the parade to the Field House, had lunch at the Field House, watched the football game, had pizza supper in the Cage and went to the NCC production of Guys and Dolls. Pictures

On Sunday morning we toured the campus and took some more pictures before returning to South Bend.

We returned to Lexington Park on Monday November 14, 2011.

We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks very much to Maria Caselli and Rick Spencer for making this a memorable event for us.
