Aviation Centennial

On Tuesday May 15, I checked into the
Gaylord at Washington National Harbor. Attended the Marine Assault
Support Operational Advisory Group meetings which then
transitioned to the 2012 Marine Corps Aviation Association Nation
Symposium celebrating the 100th anniversary of Marine Aviation.
On Wednesday evening we attended the
Sunset Parade at the Marine Corps War Memorial. Secretary of Defense
Panetta was the guest speaker. The ceremony included a wreath laying
and a flyover by Marine Corps aircraft. After the parade, we joined
Pete and Dinah Charboneau for dinner.
