After visiting Jacksonville, On
Sunday August 12, 2012, Suzette and I started the drive to South Bend.
We stayed the night in Chillicothe, OH and continued the drive on
Monday, arriving at mom's mid afternoon. On Tuesday we went to Goshen
for a walk around town and lunch at the South
Side Soda Shops and Dinner which
had been featured on Dinners, Drive
Ins, and Dives in 2007. On Wednesday we worked in the yard,
trimming trees, and Wednesday evening we met Tom
and Molly and their daughter Mary for supper at The
Mark Dine and Tap near the
Notre Dame campus. Mom, Kathy ad JR joined us. Tom and Molly were
bringing Mary to St. Mary's College to begin her freshman year. We had
a wonderful dinner. On Thursday morning, Suzette and I mad e the drive
back to Maryland.
