New Bern to Broad Creek (Neuse River)
Back Home
We
decided to get underway on Sunday afternoon. The boat had just come out
of the yard and we had not had much time on it all summer and we wanted
to be sure everything was working before we got too far from home. We
cruised to Broad Creek and anchored for the night. Fortunately
everything worked fine. As we came out of New Bern Grand Marina, Joe
had his quadcopter flying from across the Trent River and video'd us
coming out of the marina and going through the Cunningham Bridige. Joe,
Diane and Joey then followed us down the Neuse River and got the drone
airborne again and took some more great video.
We anchored for the evening in Broad Creek just east of New Bern. Good night except - many bugs.
