001017-M-8230O-001, DOGANBEY, TURKEY -- Marines from 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) Battalion Landing Team 2/2 Fox Company's First Platoon quickly board a CH-53E Super Stallion after successfully completing a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP) mission here. During the simulated TRAP, the Marines landed, secured the area and rescued two downed pilots in less than five minutes. The mission was held during Destined Glory 2000, a NATO exercise that combines the air, naval and landing forces of several NATO countries to build cooperation and interoperability in the Mediterranean region.
